Bonsai!!!

Post by TexasPricklyPiglet »

Howdy again everyone. I moved away from San Antonio, back into cactus country where I come from, and I also became a teacher. Oh yeah, and I have some bonsai trees now as well that I like. This has all transpired since I last visited the forum. How has everyone here been? Any new and exciting things to report? :D

Well, most members report important things in their member topics. Novice users ask something and than usually disappear without a trace.

Bonsai from common trees like humid atmosphere, not like other cacti living in draught. I had some before but tended to kill them most because of the different regime and care they needed. Maybe outside in Texas will be easier to have some. Would be interesting to make bonsai from cactus or succulent species that usually get bigger and couldn't be kept at home or in limited space. What are your bonsai like? Let us see some photos.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

I really should not encourage you since I hate people producing bonsai cacti and planting roots or tubers that should be buried on top of the pot to produce pseudo caudiciforms. However if it "turns you on" see:-
