Horray. I manage to put this on the net. This is how it should look - my new GH. A bit of improvements maybe - like diagonal over roofing. And some ehtra shelves in wood like Paul Doyle from England has (I hope he won't mind borrowing his idea of shelving :? )

Now we only need some Slovenian (or is it Kroatian or Serbian?) translation!

(I really think you should think about yourself in five to ten years time, when you wished you had doubled your greenhouse space five to ten years ago when you had a chance!)

I don't think measurements need any translation. They are in centimeters. :lol:

And about the measurements of my GH. One should not be too greedy, right??? What if that cacti bug passes and I'll be left standing there and wondering why on earth do I have that big of the building there on my back yard? 8)

Bottom right, steps up into the greenhouse? Elevated? All my drawings are on scratch paper, nice post. If the cactus bug leaves, sewing room? :lol:

Well Dennis, I had to do it this way. The terain isn't flat all together and drainage pipes leads that way, so I had to upp a left side of the foundation. So stairs were the only option that commes to mind.

You can see a bit here:

Sewing room is a good decision. But I can't sew, so I would have to rent out. :lol:

You mean people have greenhouses without shelves Maja, how do they manage to get all their plants in for the winter?

http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/loa ... 121.html?4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Main trouble with our high light intensity plants is to avoid shading the staging's too much, so the shelves need to be high enough or narrow enough to not provide too much shade. In sunny countries some shade may be a good thing so shelves could be lower and wider, but not in dull old UK. However you can't beat a greenhouse that is as high to the eaves as possible in order to allow wider shelves near the eaves without too much shade on the staging's. It does not matter if you have to use a step ladder to reach the shelves.

Scroll down this one for the shelving:-

No Dave. I meant extra shelves on the higher side. There I had grow boxes on that raised part.

So if I get my GH in wood, then I could place some shelves exactly like Paul Doyle showed his in Cactus World vol.31 no.2 June 2013. I now only have regales planed on the other side.
