Now this is a real shame, and could be a commercial grower's worst nightmare: vandal-destroys-thousands-of-plants-at-county-nursery

Still don't understand why people would do such a thing..... :(

I bet anything it is a disgruntled former employee or something similar. It is obviously someone that knows what they were doing. If it were drunk teens they would have smashed a few pots and broke some branches. They really should consider installing cameras. You can get them fairly inexpensively, and if they were in place they'd probably have caught the guy red handed.
