Can they be saved?

Post by Mark »

Hi a couple of months ago around october i I got some plumeria cuttings from Alvin and I potted them up. The tops of some looked like the leaves were going to start growing once it got warmer. I gave them a small splash of water about two weeks ago and today when I checked them the stem was feeling soft. Can they be saved ? Or is it to late

Thanks
Mark

Need more information. Where are you growing them? Have you check the roots - have any? We received in 800 plumeria segments last Fall knowing they will take a few months to take hold. We grow in South Florida (Tropical) so our growing environment is different that any other in the continental USA. However, our clients do grow them through out the USA. Softness can be due to lack of water. However if you do not have good roots after 3..4 months then yours many be a complete loss. http://www.AdeniumRose.comrare and unusual cactus, succulent plants</a>.
