Angus- Lovely photos and how lucky you are to have taken a trip out there and seen those plants in habitat. Something some of us will never do, but that doesn't mean we don't enjoy seeing it through the eyes of others.

Yes, I do feel fortunate for having had the opportunity. I'm very much hoping to be able to go back for several months after my studies.

Only one I can find of me is at the Cactus Explorers Weekend in Leicester , UK in 2012. Obviously I'm under the red arrow.

Nice photos there Dave. Love the teddy and I bet that romper suit was hand knitted by a loving mummy or grandma. Those were the days everyone was much more easily content with life and less stress, (or maybe it was just a different kind of stress).
