Demographic Poll

Post by Bruce »

This is one of the few places I visit that doesn't appear to be dominated by one gender or age group. So, I thought it would be interesting to find out who we are. With Daiv’s permission (and yours), a demographic poll (like all polls, the voting is anonymous :)).

Windy,
This is a neat idea. It will be fun to see what we end up with. It makes me think of another idea. Polling to see the different climate zones where people live. This will tell us how many indoor vs. outdoor growers are about.

I agree, a great Idea, it'll be interesting to see how this one lands.

I believe older males will be the larger number.
We're too old to chase girls so we grow cacti instead

LOL Bill,

They are a little easier to catch at our age aren't they? And just as ornery :D

Sigh, a little scary having to cast your vote toward the bottom on this poll. Where does the time go?

I almost missed this one. About the overall age of the members on this forum: It does not look too bad! :o My wife always claims, that only people of retirement age who have nothing better to do have the time on their hands are cactus collectors. I guess she is wrong with that assessment.

Im probly the only one here under 20 in fact im only 19. I have always loved plants but found my true love (cacti) at 16. I am still learning and rarely post replies here, but I silently watch and learn. In my opinion this is a hobby for people who know true beauty :D and has nothing to do with age or gender.

Unfortunately Harry, posting a younger age, won't actually make you younger.

Hi- I'm curious how old people were when they first started getting cactus fever?

I was 9 and my mother bought me a grafted Notocactus graessneri.
