I hear you on that! There is definitely more participation when I send the e-mail. I really am reluctant to send mass e-mail because I always worry people will think I'm Spamming them, but I think it is worth it for the sake of a good contest.

I guess i gotta take one, but my camera is crappy. I lost my battery charger for my Sony Cybershot. and its 90 bucks for a new one

Sorry to hear that - check e-bay for used cameras/accessories - might be able to get one cheap that takes the same charger.
