Hi all, sorry to open this months picture contest so late. I just got back from a short trip to the coast.
Here is the right place to discuss the entries of the October topic : Ribs

Yes Maja , I had to look really hard to spot the Euphorbia in the collection.Haha.
- In fact I´ve had these two for some years now and the Euphorbia is a prett y good indicator on water supply for the two of them. - It shrinks if the pot gets too dry. But back to this months topic- I thought ribs was a cactus thing - but obviously isn´t after all...depending on the collection one is looking at

You would be amazed at how much that E. pachanoi crest could make you here downunder mate! See small cuttings on ebay go for "big" money all the time. A 4 inch cutting is right now sitting at $55 and bids keep coming!

Are you talking about a crested one or a normal E. pachanoi? The normal ones are always hot sellers on Ebay because of their "medicinal" uses.SnowFella wrote:You would be amazed at how much that E. pachanoi crest could make you here downunder mate! I'm now selling plants on Ebay. Check it out! Kyle's Plants

The crested one, regulars do sell for decent money too due to those "medicinal" properties but it seems crests go for more.
The local cactii nursery had one for sale when I was there last, 6 or so inches wide and with a $75 prizetag.
