you are correct with your evaluation. I too like the image better that I did not enter, except for the unruly petal in the six o' clock position. The colors of that plant's blossom are "cleaner" and the petals are shaped more nicely. I do hope, that that specific plant will produce roots - I had dug it up, because of the cold snap we had in early February of this year - and one day will give me the perfect blossom.
This year it failed to produce any flower, most likely due to the transplant shock (loss of root system).
