Re: Seed Want List
Succseed has Browningia pilleifer
ADBLPS & Cactus-Aventures.com have C. senilis
All of these, of these, and many other lists, have Ferocactus hamatanthus, or a variety of it - listings may be under Hamatocactus.

He's looking for F. haematacanthus specifically, not F. hamatacanthus. Never seen the former for sale.esp_imaging wrote:Succseed has Browningia pilleifer

Re: Seed Want List
Apologies, I assumed it was a spelling variant for the same plant. I assume I'm not the only one who would be confused by this!mdpillet wrote: He's looking for F. haematacanthus specifically, not F. hamatacanthus. Never seen the former for sale.
Re: Seed Want List
I made the same assumption. I must say, they look quite different if you look up some pictures.
Re: Seed Want List
Yes they are quite different. The spines are different. The one im looking for has purple flowers and is pretty rare. It only grows in Puebla/Veracruz regions in Mexico. Many people confuse them, which makes it even harder to findAiko wrote:I made the same assumption. I must say, they look quite different if you look up some pictures.
