Succseed has Browningia pilleifer
ADBLPS & Cactus-Aventures.com have C. senilis

All of these, of these, and many other lists, have Ferocactus hamatanthus, or a variety of it - listings may be under Hamatocactus.

I see I am wrong. Well, but the Ferocactus [Hamatocactus]. Was mixing genera up.

He's looking for F. haematacanthus specifically, not F. hamatacanthus. Never seen the former for sale.

Apologies, I assumed it was a spelling variant for the same plant. I assume I'm not the only one who would be confused by this!

I made the same assumption. I must say, they look quite different if you look up some pictures.

Yes they are quite different. The spines are different. The one im looking for has purple flowers and is pretty rare. It only grows in Puebla/Veracruz regions in Mexico. Many people confuse them, which makes it even harder to find
