The germination could be very prolonged, a half year or more. I can show you what comes out from these. After ~2 years.

Consecutive drying & soaking can help stubborn seeds.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

What about putting seeds in boiling water for a few minutes?

Don't know. You can try this with a part of the seeds. Have to know for how long not to kill it.

Actually most hatched not very slow - in a month or two, maybe one third had bigger delays.

I planted another batch of the Prickly Pear seeds and I think I got a couple germinating! So excited!

Ooh exciting! Do post pictures if possible! Did any of the gymno hybrid seeds germinate for you?

I just restarted those as well so we will see. The ones I planted late last year never germinated.
