I also figure I could post a picture and Have some of the experts on this forum ID them for me. Have fun. I did not consider the cost of postage. The USPS does calculate weight and distance for cost....So maybe we could have arranged the order by location. Size would prohibit some nice larger species from being included in the Round Robin. We have till next year to hash things out for the next one.
No worries Apfire, I think it turned out fine. As soon as I shipped it, I realized that I should have checked the price of shipping through UPS before going to USPS. In my past experiences it seems that UPS ships larger packages cheaper than USPS does, and USPS ships smaller packages cheaper than UPS does. O well. I'll try to remember for next time. It was fun either way. 8)

OK - the box is on its way to cefalophone! It should arrive on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

After that, we should be back to the original order of recipients.

GREAT selection from the box - took 10 and added back 12.

Can't wait to the end to see what everyone ended up with!

Thanks apfire for starting this - and I hope all are having fun!

Cheers,
Tristan

I just received the box today a few moments ago! Quite a nice selection it has. I only took two tephro's and two small pachanoi's . I will be adding more than I took back in. Also it seems a brasilopuntia was rotting. It does not seem like it has spread but I do not want everything to turn to mush when it arrives to the next recipient. Should I rewrap all the cacti?

One more thing, is Tony next in line or barracuda?

I would just rewrap the ones that may need to be rewrapped.
I am just looking for the defining statement to put here. Follow this link to see my other cacti.

hey guys sorry for the delay. I had some financial issues last week that have been sorted out now and will have the package off to Tony soon. I am really sorry for holding the round robin up again. Next time I think I should go last in case of any unforeseen issues on my side occur again. Again sorry guys but the box will be out tomorrow and back in rotation.

Luckily, I just happen to have a few extra cuttings lying around to replace them with. :P

I'm ready, but afraid a tractor-trailer is going to arrive. And with Winter inward migration coming.... But then this could be a "space-clearing event" too  I do have a pot of 4 stems 5' tall of Yucca elephantip. I've been trying to unload

There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!
