Echinopsis pups for trade.
Hey Everyone,
I have 9 offsets of a Echinopsis hybrid that I would like to trade.
I am up to any cuttings or offsets as I am trying to grow my collection (this echinopsis is my only cacti).
I am in Canada so I assume this is only open to Canadian residents only.
Thanks guys! Happy Holidays!
Doug

I am unsure with what you mean in your comment, I am up to trade anything. Even common cuttings/offsets. I was hoping to get a prickly pear or something haha. I am new to the cacti-game. If you are interested, send me your email via pm and I can send you some photos.
Thanks
Thanks

Douglas - If you were hoping to come across prickly pear, i.e. Opuntia, I'd be glad to send a couple of pads of O. humifusa, ie. Eastcoast Prickly Pear. Probably the most tolerant, toughest "don't have to do anything special" cactus you'll come across, esp. up your way. Plants are dormant now -- i could still send a couple pads , or wait until late April when they're waking up, plus seeds. Let me know. If you want the pads now, I wouldn't bother doing anything with them until April. No trade needed -- lots of pads & seeds.
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

That would be awesome. I didn't think seeds or plant parts were allowed to cross federal borders. can anyone clarify?

They can, but if you want to do it legally you will need to get export permits and possibly CITES permits as well (which are more of a pain). I believe that there are special rules in the US that make sending plants to and from Canada easier than with any other country. I don't know if Canadian rules work the same way.
I'm now selling plants on Ebay. Check it out! Kyle's Plants

I'm gonna add that on my hybrid's collection,

Yes they are still available. I will trade for any cutting or offset or small plant. Something interesting, I am just growing my collection.
I am unsure of what the hybrid is but they have roots showing.
I will send them express post if interested.
Thanks

Doug did your Echinopsis put out more pups this year? I have a variety of small cacti to trade and cuttings from Epis and Christmas cacti. Possibly in same city as you if I interpret your climate zone correctly!
