Hello!
I had 100 L. marmorata seed. I sown them in november and they didn't germinate (it is 3months from then). The tray is under artificial light. The compost soil is:wood soil+big size sand+perlite(all sterilized in microwave). What have I done wrong?
Thank you!
Lithops marmorata seedlings

If it didn't germinate, they were probably too old. You should've at least seen something germinate, even if it died after.
See my current wanted lists here: http://www.u.arizona.edu/~mdpillet/cr.html and http://www.u.arizona.edu/~mdpillet/en.html.

Did you buy them from a reliable source? Lithops seed (like many succculents, adapted to periodic extreme drought) should retain good viability for a few years. E.g. http://www.conos-paradise.com/en/cultivation.htmlmdpillet wrote:If it didn't germinate, they were probably too old.

Thank you for the link!!!
Do you think the problem was in the compost(soil+perlit+sand)?

Re: Lithops marmorata seedlings
Total lack of germination isn't the fault of the compost, although if it wasn't sterile, I guess the seedlings could have died from fungal attack before they fully germinated.
A more common scenario with compost problems is to get some germination, then the seedlings die in the first few days and weeks due to fungus, damping off or sciarid fly larvae.
