Succlent is unwell looking

Post by Beccac94 »

Its been slowly going downhill for a couple months now, I thought maybe ive been overwatering it so stopped watering it as much but it hasnt improved. So then i thought maybe it wasnt getting watered enough because it was wilting but again this didn't work.
Around the top of the stem is staring to look a bit fuzzy as well.
Im quite new to keeping succulents so does anyone have any advice?

If it is soft, it is probably rotting.
There is no cactus you can't eat, but you just might regret it if you eat the wrong one.

Looks like frost damage. It really looks like one of my Agave plants after a few nights of frost in December. It is oozing some liquid now as it gets softer and softer. Yours might do the same...

I did think it could be rotting, is their anyway to stop this? Or prevent this in the future?
