Dudleya repot

Post by keith »

had some time so I decided to repot all my dudleyas before they start growing, of course I ran out of daylight but got it done. This year I plan to use the systemic Imidacloprid in FEBURARY so it acually gets in the plant because by the time I see mealy bugs in August the dudleyas are dormant. And they always seem to get mealy bugs.

Dudleya greenei or Dudleya caespitosa I don't really know ?? Probably caespitosa its more common. Good time to knock off some of the dead leaves also probably were the mealie bugs hide out.

I plant them in Pumice mixed with sand mixed with leaf litter. I notice they always seem to grow on volcanic rock around here and on the islands.
