Tacitus bellus, always a delight (even when the plant itself is somewhat ratty).
Avonia quinaria ssp quinaria, doing quite a bit better this year with some shading and less insane temperatures. I'm still looking for the exact right conditions though

The Avonia looks nice in dappled shade. Needs a lot of heat here to open the flowers, but your sun is much stronger.

Avonia is definitely an interesting plant. Found some on eBay that I followed but sold for more than I wanted to pay. How long do the flowers last?
