Hello everyone!
All my lithops are well into pushing through their new heads and all of them are doubling this year. Is this just a coincidence that all of them are doing this or was it something to do with how I treated them last year?
I tried do some research, but didn't find much, just that eventually they clump and some species are more prone to doing so.
They are different species, different ages, and from different suppliers. I only have a dozen or so, so I know it's not as crazy as if I had a massive collection, but I'm curious none the less!

Most Lithops species will double up fairly quickly after reaching a more or less adult size at 2-3 years. If you bought a bunch of plants at about the same size and time, not entirely surprising that they all doubled in the same year. Here are four seed-grown plants that all synchronised nicely:
