Large Coastal Form comes good

Post by iann »

There is a type of Lithops divergens called the Large Coastal Form. Nobody has got around ro calling it anything formally, but it is as much a variety as many other named Lithops varieties. As seedlings it looks very much like any other L. divergens, but they look quite different as adults. Top left is the normal L. divergens, one of the smallest species and a typical yellow-grey-green colour. Top right is the Large Coastal Form, same age and growing conditions but now noticeably plainer, greyer, and bigger. At the bottom is adult Large Coastal Form.
