Not just Lithops eager to get going

Conophytum ectypum ssp brownii is only a day or two away from flowering.

C. stiriiferum is named after icicles. I just call it Sparkly. Double-checking how to spell it and I see it is an Ophthalmophyllum which slightly surprised me. Maybe I knew once and forgot. It will have to have a new home on the shelf with other Ophthalmophyllums, although it looks quite different from them. I've been growing it with C. ratum.

You definitely have a golden touch when it comes to Lithops and Mesembs. Iann. My poor P. nelii still hasn't flowered for me although she looks healthy :(

P. nelii is a funny one. It does flower much more reliably when it gets to a good size. Lithops and Conophytums flower much more easily, and of course it helps to have several hundred of them :)
