Lush winter succulents

Post by iann »

Some succulents are a lot fatter and green in the middle of winter.

Delosperma sphalmanthoides is fairly green and succulent even in summer, but definitely now. I've had it in flower in January before, but there hasn't been any cold weather yet and I don't think it realises it should be the middle of winter.

Dudleya calcicola and D.lanceolata are definitely fat and happy in the constant humidity and cool conditions.

Those look good, Ian. Really like the Delosperma.
