Can you spot the buds?

Post by Kamos »

Don't you love it when you make a discovery like this? Titanopsis calcarea blooms will be a first for me,....I hope
they'll make it! There are actually 4 buds, but 2 of them have no yellow showing yet.

One is obvious, another fairly easy to spot. I see a third in the second photo, but can't find number four.

My T. calcarea plants are absolutely covered in flowers this year. Not sure what I did to deserve that, but I'm not complaining. They've been around for ages now, but they only open once every few weeks when the sun is strong enough to warm up the greenhouse.

Here in my part of Central Cal. we're in our foggy time of year. :( But usually the afternoons get sunny, so
my Mesembs. seem to be doing well in the south facing window sills. :)
