Any ideas on what this succulent is ? Bulbine is what the vendor id'd it as but I don't know what that is ?

Bulbine frutescens that was easy there is a plant called a bulbine. does it work well as a landscape plant in S. CA ? drought tolerant ?

Planted one in my yard so far so good. have to see how it does during the winter
