What a surprise, my Orbea v. was pollinated somehow! So I will get seeds but I imagine they'll be clones???

Hi, I think euphorbia obesa flowers turn red naturally when they are rotting and falling off - mine are doing it too. The plant that you said it is flowering already and you just planted it this winter - what type of flower is it?? I like it!

If no other Stapeliads were around and the Orbea selfed it will not technically be a clone. All the genes will come from the one parent but they can be shuffled up in the offspring in a way that could give you some variation. Not a ton of difference, but you might get some plants with darker flowers and some with more yellow flowers for example.

Oh that's interesting. It is still actually developing its seed pod! So I can see it's been over a month the darn thing has been growing!!! I want my seeds :)

I had a Ceropegia woodii take 9 months to ripen its seedpod under lights and good heat and nutrition.

Wow, I just got a Ceropegia woodii actually. They are really nice little guys. I'm glad to have it and it flowers so well. Hoping it grows strong. It's in a small hanger now and I want to repot it but I don't know how much trouble that will be. It's so tangled and I don't know how thick its roots are anyway.
