Maybe a Delosperma

Post by iann »

Used to be called Delopserma sphalmanthoides, but I think it may have a new genus now. Whatever the name, it puts on a good display once its had some cold and then the sun comes out.

Very nice display. Nice colour contrasts. I see a couple strays as well.

Very nice. :) What size pot is that? I think the picture's making it look a fair bit larger than it actually is, but I can't quite tell.

I had a couple of those a couple years ago.

I had trouble with them in the summer, and lost them all slowly but surely.
I think I would do better with them now, but haven't seen any for sale.

Note to self:
I should get some seeds next fall and grow a nice crop of them.

Nice. Last known as Delosperma Sphalmanthoides a mountain alpine.

Hi Ian
I was wondering if you know what this Delosperma is?
Thanks in advance
