Accidental Titanopsis
Accidental Titanopsis
Well it grew and I kept it, as you do. On several ocaisions I got bored with it because it didnt do much.
I gave it away to a relative who died and then left it to me. I gave it to my sister who forgot that it had come from me and brought it back again. Then later after moving house twice in a heat wave where I lost tens of plants due to boiling heat in an unventilated conservatory. This plant then survived two bitter -18 degree winters, where it went irredeemeably pink red. Only two other plants have come through all of this an Ihlenfeldtia vanzylii and a Khadia Carolinensis.
So now it has survived, about a year ago it started actually grow. Now it has this great rossette of leaves and started to flower last year. it must be made of concretete.

Re: Accidental Titanopsis
Next time you are ready to give it away, keep me in mind.

Re: Accidental Titanopsis
Sounds like a rock solid plant! It's really been through a lot from the sounds of things and it still looks great.
Re: Accidental Titanopsis
Seems like a rock solid plant, went trough so much, and after all that it still presents you with a flower. That's a keeper mate, that's a plant friend for life
We sailed through endless skies
Stars shine like eyes
The black night sighs
The moon in silver trees
Falls down in tears
Light of the night
The earth, a purple blaze
Of sapphire haze in orbital ways...
