I had heard that perle von nurnberg flower stems never made pups. I guess I was wrong. My coworker was throwing out a stem and I stuck it in some dirt. Maybe everyone knew that but I didn't so I thought I'd share!
Perle von nurnberg- who knew?
Re: Perle von nurnberg- who knew?
I have found that the leaves on all of the echevaria hybrid flower stalks that I have grown, root and produce plantlets, sometimes two at a time. Im actually attempting the species E. cante right now, but I have not tried Perle von yet as I dont grow it.
I just pull the leaves off before they start to shrivel and stick them in soil, but a friend of mine likes to cut the stalks between the leaves and sticks the stalk in soil so the leaf is just touching the soil.

Forget the dog...Beware of the plants!!!
