Sempervivum soculense, a new species of houseleek

Post by d.donati »

Hello,
a new species of houseleek (hen and chicks) is now described: Sempervivum soculense sp. nov.
It's an Italian endemism, growing on a single mountain facing the Garda lake, a true pre-glacial relict neglected until now.
You can download free the pdf of the description (with Acta Succulenta Journal, on which it is published) at the following link:

English:
http://www.acta-succulenta.eu/EN/1_2_2013" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

French:
http://www.acta-succulenta.eu/FR/1_2_2013" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Italian
http://www.acta-succulenta.eu/IT/1_2_2013" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

NB: please be patient, the download can be slow to very slow sometimes
