Here is the total collection of Little Spheroid cross with Red Coral

This is the normal form of "Little Spheroid" small plant grown with the same light levels as the hybrids

Here is my second favorite hybrid
I had a couple names, "Paint Ball", "Space Balls" Denise nixed those names
The purple dots on grey skin is pretty cool
So this one needs a name..

This one is more mottled, and spiny
It needs a name..

This may be the same as the above plant, or slightly different

This one may not be a cross with Red Coral at all, maybe another marianiae form
We probably won't even both to sell it, since it isn't that great
It's more of a misshaped mottled Little Spheroid

and of course, this form is the best IMO, we got it year ago and have grow it in less light than the above plants
so the coloring is less intense.
We are calling it "Cherry Bomb", but I still want a better name

We don't have any of these for sale yet, (we have sold a couple some small Cherry Bombs, and will have more soon)
I wanted to get good photos of these before I cut them up for future sales

But we hope to have them available next year.
For the unofficial naming contest, we will send you 2 rooted leaves of the plant for your contribution.

I'll take a stab at the naming game. For the first one, your 'Paint Ball', 'Space Balls'.

When I first saw it I thought of the Hostess Sno balls. You my name would be Cherry Sno(w) ball. :D

Good morning Craig and Denise,

my suggestion for the second plant (paintball), " Rudolf's purple nose "

Best wishes

K.W.

P.S. I also have some Adromischus, they are wonderful plants.
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

The second nameless one definitely looks like a group of hedgehogs. Impressionist Hedgehog? The dialect name for Hedgehog in Norfolk is Hodmedod, a word that deserves more use.

Rather than Cherry Bomb surely that looks a bit like the classic Chinese Peach of Immortality, though rougher?

I'm recently going to receive my first batch of mesembs. I think there are three lithops, a Argyroderma Crateriforme, and a pleiospilos royal flush.
I know Lithops have very different watering regime compared to others. Is it okay for me to pot the Lithops in one pot, and Argyroderma and pleiospilos in another pot?

You should keep them in different pots
The Pleiospilos need a lot of water, especially Royal Flush, and all that water will split the Argyies

Those Adromischus names above are good, but not good enough to pass muster with the wife.

Nice Adros. I must admit I haven't been paying them a lot of attention, but I may have to change that :)

As for names, I guess 'Burgundy Blush' can apply to any of them. Or, if there's one you are extraordinarily fond of, 'Denise's Delight' :) ('Craig's Craving' sounded a bit over the top). Alliteration for the win.

Those Pleiospilos nelii are amazing!
What a nice colour difference of the purplish ones. Is one (or three) 'Royal Flush' and the other(s) 'Rubra'?

The red one is just an odd clone, maybe a hybrid or something.

I was calling it "Royal Punch" and hoping to breed it, but the seedlings all came up mutated, and I haven't seen a red flower yet from any seedling.
I sold some of the mutated ones, I wonder what the flower color were?
