Getting cacti ready for winter - Help

Post by carl1000 »

SO I live in Nashville TN. It gets to around 25-35 in the winter for 2.5 months or so (NOV-FEB). Some snow. I have 3 big cacti. 2 will go inside, the other is now 7.5 feet and won't fit in my basement. Any suggestions? I am assuming leaving them out for the winter won't work? Thanks for any ideas. I am wondering as well if the one cacti that has multiple sprouts is ready for a bigger pot...

Also, if you could identify my cacti that would be nice. I am new to the forum)). I have grown these since they were very small. Thanks!

Carl in TN

They will not stay any cold below freezing or the risk is significant. Any room in a heated house will work better.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
