Save a flowering Aeonium?

My Aeonium tabuliniforma has styarted to fower and I fear that is it's death cry!!!

Is there any way to save it like cutting off the flower and hope it offtets or...

Cutting off the flower won't save it, that rosette is done for. You may be able to propagate it, though, see - http://www.cactus-art.biz/schede/AEONIU ... eforme.htm

That's what I get for growing monocarps. One big fling and....
I'll try leaf cuttings as per the cactus-art page - thanks Spence. I tried that with a Rosularia libinotica and they just never took. Well, once more unto the breach dear friends...

I have another Aeonium tabulinaforma that has not flowered. Do you thin if I cut the head off the stem it will produce shoots?
