Repotting Succulent Help - Shaky plant?

Post by celenac »

I just repotted my succulent (transferred it from a pot with no drainage holes to one with a drainage hole). Is it normal for the succulent to be shaky and wiggle around in the soil. If i shake my pot lightly, my succulent moves around a lot. Did I do something wrong?

Nothing's wrong, it just takes a few days for the roots to "grab hold" of the soil again.

You're welcome. If an established plant gets loose like that you should check for root problems. After transplanting, though, they just need time to grow new root hairs.
