haworthia mutica roots are dry

Post by Kafnit »

Hello,
I have a haworthia mutica & I just noticed that it isn’t sitting tight in the pot .

I took it off to see its roots & they were dry:
Most of them had disconnected from the planet & are dry.
The plant left with a small & short amount of roots(those type of plants has a wide roots compare to their size).
The plant itself looking good:

What could case this? Is it because I didn’t water it enough?

Thx.

So I read a bit & it was written that haworthia is renewing its roots:

Could be shedding its roots naturally. Just wait a while for new roots to develop and then start watering again. Looks like it is holding enough water to go a good while.

Thanks Iann,
At the beginning it looked strange.
