So I just got a delivery from Mr Brack of some stuff. Included are some Stapeliads, which I've never grown. Included are
Huernia keniensis BARAD 11548 and Stapelia hirsuta v soraria DP4725.
According to Llifle, they want light shade or partial sun.
I have two options when it comes to sun exposure. Shade from dawn to about 10am or a little earlier and then shade from about 7pm until dark, which is where I keep my desert cacti. Then I have a huge catalpa tree that my shade plants, including an Aloe vera, my christmas cacti, streptocarpus, and a couple others go under. It's shaded until about 3pm or so, but it's deep shade before that. No dappling at all.
What do you guys think? Or should I get some shade cloth and do it right?
EDIT: And are they like cacti where I should leave them unwatered for a couple weeks after potting?

Re: Huernia/Stapelia sun exposure question
I gave mine the same exposure as my Christmas cacti and it did fine.
