Aloe variegata help needed

Post by Geo99 »

I might just be being paranoid but is this normal for leaves to do this? It looks almost like it's too squishy at the tip and is folding. Will it sort itself out? I water it once every couple of weeks - is this too little? Can I save it if it's not supposed to happen?

Hello! I'm 19 and from the north coast of Scotland, I absolutely adore succulents, and plants in general! I don't know what I'm doing most of the time, but at least I'm having fun!

It needs more light. It's quite stretched out and weakened which is typical when they don't get enough light. I keep mine outside during the spring summer and early autumn and it gets about 10 hours of direct sunlight and day. It should firm up and grown thicker, shorter leaves with a reddish tone in the hottest parts of the year.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Don't abruptly move it into direct sun, though, it needs to be gradually acclimatized to avoid sunburn.
