Hi i saved this succulent from a pet store a last year and I've been wondering what these red Root like tendrils coming out from under the leaves are?

Re: red roots?
They are roots, you can cut the main stem shot, just below the rooting stem, and let the cut part dry and plant them in fresh potting medium. You will them get a more compact plant (from the cutting).

Re: red roots?
Yup they're roots. They're red due to an accumulation of phenolic compounds due to light stress, since roots aren't meant to be exposed to light really. Think of it as the plant equivalent of a sun tan.
