Etiolated Haworthia cymbiformis

Post by JamesEG »

Last year I got an offset of a Haworthia cymbiformis, it took all autumn and a bit of winter to root, and once it did it started growing. Unfortunately I wasn't paying much attention to it and it ended up with 5 leaves (2 more on the way) which were really etiolated and it also got taller which doesn't look at all good. It was badly etiolated in the first place when I got it. I moved it onto my desk where I could put a light on it but the new leaves also look a bit elongated :( does it still need more light? Also, how can I correct this later on? Could I take off the bottom leaves and repot it lower down to make it look better?
Thanks,
