I would like some input as to what and how to fertiilize my plants. I suppose I need to clarify a bit as to what I have and where I live... I live in Cleveland, TN, which is a borderline 7a/b. I installed my first "desert bed" this past spring and planted several different cacti, agave, nolina, dasyiliron.
Here is a link to a slideshow on the construction of my bed, along with a few of the plants I put out this past spring:

I also have quite a few other cacti/agave/etc. in pots.
Again, I would like to get some feedback as to what to fertilize my plants with and how much. I realize the ones planted out will probably be fertilized differently than the potted ones, so input about both would be greatly appreciated!
I do not plan on fertilizing til spring, but wanted to start getting information now.
Thanks so much for any advice anyone can give in advance.
New to succulents and need advice!
Nice slideshow! I really like your desert garden, and the palm bed is good too.
I will be interested to hear what others say about fertilizer. I mixed Osmocote in the soil with my plants when I put them in a year or more ago, and I haven't worried about fertilizer since then. But the slow release stuff is probably gone now, and I need to find out what to do too!

It’s not the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.
