What is this?
I'm pretty sure it's a Euphorbia, but as to the species I'm at a complete loss.

If you talk about the spiny column in the foreground, it's a "Pachypodium lamerei", from the dear Dogbane family

I have one of these, albeit somewhat shorter. Mine is only about 6" tall. And I agree on the identification of Pachypodium lamerei.
Make the moral choice & always do what's right. Be a good example. Be part of the solution & make a contribution to society, or be part of the problem & end your life with nothing but regrets. Live a life you can be proud of! Zone 7a
