ID this succulent from California?

ID this succulent from California?

I was in California and saw this on a rocking outcropping. There was a lot of it, brought it home, I hope that it's rooting. Anyone have an ID?

Looks like a mesemb, probably a Drosanthemum. That wouldn't be native.

That's what the locals call "ice plant" over ther, I believe. Usually has magenta pink flowers though. The leaves look crystaly? Like little glass beads on the surface?

Lots of different ice plants. D. floribundum is widespread in California. Might be that one, but there are many species similar to this.

Yes after searching I believe it is indeed floribundum. Thanks guys.
