ID for yellow-flowered bush in Arizona please

ID for yellow-flowered bush in Arizona please

A friend who is vacationing in Arizona this winter, sent this picture requesting a name. He said nobody knew what it was. I don't know Arizona desert plants very well (being from Illinois), but I would think this should be easy to identify.

I think that may be a Senna but I am not sure how many varieties are found in Arizona.

Thank you. Cassia (or Senna) was my first thought but I had no clue about the species.
