Aloe ID Help

Post by Minime8484 »

I obtained this Aloe recently with the tag "Aloe wickensii", which is a synonym of Aloe cryptopoda, which it is clearly not.

I was considering Aloe camperi, but that doesn't look entirely right either.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, the structure looks like the one of A. ramosissima... Has it ever blossomed?

It could be any of quite a few options, I would have thought. A medium sized, stem forming aloe with long narrow, green leaves probably describes quite a few Aloes.
It looks a bit leggy, as though its been kept in a shady corner for a while. Or it's a naturally scrambling species.
A few more close up shots would help, e.g leaf and teeth details.

Thanks all!
This has never bloomed - I just recently obtained it at our local C&S holiday party.

Here are a few more close-up photos. Does this help?
