Please help identify this succulent?

Hello! I recently received a couple of (identical) succulents, but have no idea what kind. I do know that it's a trailing succulent, but nothing more.
Neither of them were taken proper care of so the stems were here there and everywhere, so I cut them so they can re-root.




Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From the view of top, looks like Sedum adolphi. this would not be considered a trailing succulent. The side views & your description, makes me think it is in need of more sun to grow more compactly. Once it does, this ID might seem more accurate.
