Hello,
I have one plant that I am not sure 100% what exactly is.
What I think is that it could be:
Crassulaceae > Sempervivum > Tectorum > Tectorum.
Description:
- leaf length: 32 - 42 mm
- leaf width: 12 - 17 mm
- leaf border with sharp spikes like little needles (a dehydrated leaf can hurt unprotected hand/fingers)
- upper leaf surface: smooth and silky soft
- backside leaf surface: smooth and silky soft with soft spikes
- leaf color from saturated pure green to reddish/brick top of the leaf (not all the time)
- flowers : not flowering yet
- age: 2 - 3 y.
Please assist me to identify it smile
Kind regards,
Petar

Likely is tectorum. It's a bit pale, it needs more light - they're really outdoor plants. Gradually expose it to more sun to avoid sunburn.

Hello GreenKnight,
Thank you for ID confirmation.
Sure i know it should be outside on full sun.
Unfortunately the best I can get is a nortwestern window (where exactly it is )
Any idea how I can fix the light issue in othe way.

Artificial light, maybe - put a spot light on it. When they're getting enough light, the points on the leave are brown.

Hello again,
Have moved this one to new soil with the proper mix.
Now it is turning more and more leaves yellow, then droping them.
Light and temp is decreased due the winter in Europe.
It was not doing this last year? Any ideas?
Regards.

Sempervivum Tectorum is happy outside all year in most of Europe, even in England it's completely happy.
Maybe it's warm, and without enough light, so it's trying to grow.
Can you keep it cooler?

It would be happy with quite a lot of organic matter in the soil, so long as it still drains OK. It's a European succulent, not a Mexican cactus.pgpanayotov wrote:Hello again,

My Semperviviums are in pots outside in normal garden soil. They are exposed to rain and frost all winter.
