Echeveria ? variety

Post by jameson »

Plant purchased unlabelled from garden center in NY state.

Has been generating flowers on top of 16 inch stems.

The one main rosette is as wide as my outstretched hand.

Sorry for the blurry pics of flowers, but hope they will aid in identifying variety.

Hello,

Looks like Echeveria "Glory"
It is indeed a hybrid:
Echeveria purpusorum x Echeveria spectabilis;
PURPUSORUM Berger, 1930 (Synonym : Urbinia purpusii Rose (1911))
SPECTABILIS Alexander, 1941

Could you get a clearer shot of the flower.
Please count the petals and sepals (are they 5?)

Kind regards,

Hello K.W.,

Thank you, I am happy to help :) .
I am interested in a lot of different classes and generas and Echeveria is one of them.
I have colection that is limited by space and unfortunately cannot afford to take all the plants I like.
I read for more plants than the plants I take care for.
Your plant looks very well and healthy!
Congrats!!!

Kind regards,
