Huernia
What would be the difference between a Huernia Keniensis and Huernia macrocarpa?
Re: Huernia
H. macrocarpa comes in two main flower colors. Red and pale yellow with brown spots. H. keniensis flowers are always dark red (usually a darker red than H. macrocarpa) and come in shapes ranging from wide open to bell shaped, to ball shaped with an opening. The H. keniensis flowers are bigger than the H. macrocarpa ones. If you have the form of H. keniensis where the petals fold back then it will have much larger teeth on the flower than H. macrocarpa. If it doesn't have those teeth then the flower won't have the tips of the petals folded back.
You can't really tell from the plants alone. You need the flowers.
