BTW I think I kept it in shade and it lost its red colour to a green color :\

My plants color up under stress/neglect (lots of sun, little water). I call it a "California Tan".
It might be a while till you see blooms. Where are you located? It *might* help to figure out its ID.
Have you had the plant very long? Is it young or old? What size is the rosette?

its about the size of your hand, I live in lahore, Pakistan. hot summers cold winters. I got the plant a month ago.

Thanks for the additional info. Does the nursery where you bought it carry very many Aloe? Do you know where shipments might come from?

not many aloe, they had this, they have Aloe aristata, Aloe sladeniana and aloe vera. I dont know if they imported ot not.
