Lost ID Help!

Post by Tiggy »

I am certain that I have already asked for an ID for this particular plant but checking it out the other day I couldn't find a ref. sheet for it (something that I try to do for all of my plants). I checked out my photos on flickr and it's not on there either. I also name the photos once ID'd but as my comp. gave up on me last October I lost my personal files. :( Anyway, if anyone can help me out with it I would be very grateful. It's driving me crazy trying to remember what it is or where I can find an old ref. to it.

Rosemary you're an angel! It's almost two weeks now that I have been trying to find an answer. I know that it was Id'd just after I bought it almost three years ago,and I did try going through my posts on the forum in the hope of finding it, but then I remembered that a most of the photos were lost around 2012 due to tech. problems. I should have it (with name) in files on comp. but last year I lost all of them when the comp. gave up the ghost on me. I just couldn't believe it! I Always make a sheet out for each of my plants even if haven't managed to ID them. they all have a number on their labels along with their name and the sheets are all in a folder in numerical order. Infalible no? NO! I just don't know what went wrong with this one. Anyway to cut a long story short, I even posted on the Italian forum as I wasn't at all convinced of Haworthia or Aloe. Just didn't click in my head. I knew that I would know the name if I saw it. Then last night I came on here and started slogging through all of the images that I had posted from the beginning and eventually I found it. And yes you are right on the target with your suggestion. It was too late last night to comeback on and write another message, I would have done so tonight, but you beat me to it. Last time it was Tony that gave the ID but I notice that a lot of the original members don't show their faces a lot these days, including Daiv. Thank goodness you are still around, I value your opinions highly especially regarding succulents. Thank you again.
p.s. I now save ALL my file etc. on a cloud so hopefully this shouldn't re-occur.

You're welcome, Tiggy! Glad to help when I'm able.
Tech problems give me a headache. So frustrating! These days we need several ways to archive info if we want to be able to retrieve it eventually.
I jump in & out of forums these days. Currently serving jury duty, so even less. But, find myself on Facebook more often. Very active succulent groups there.

Self-identification: Rosemarie (Rosemary is someone else!) Hee hee!
