New succulents

Post by aurelie. »

Hey!
Got a few more succulents for the New Year and, as always, I don't know what they are.
Any thoughts?

The cactus is Mammillaria vetila ssp gracilis 'Arizona Snowcap'. The spines are not pink, that is just a dye that retailers think in some way enhances the appearance of the plant. The natural state has striking pur white spines, far more attractive ;) The flowers are also not pink, but creamy.

Tanks iann! I thought the spines might be died, but I had thought that about an echinocereus rigidissimus rubispinus, only to find out I was totally wrong, so preferred not to even suggest it this time! It'll be nice to see how it grows to find new spines then, something to look forward too, even if I can't get it to flower :s

Thats really weird that they would dye the spines, kinda sad cause they look beautiful without the color being altered

Last one looks like it might be Senecio stapeliiformis.
